Sonal Dongre Jain – Director, Studio Symbiosis

After graduating from IIT Roorkee in 2008, Sonal has built extensive experience in architecture and real estate development across India, complemented by early international exposure through an internship in Germany. She began her career as part of the in-house architecture team of a leading developer in Bangalore, before moving to NCR, where she became actively involved in the design and planning of real estate projects.

She has been a part of Studio Symbiosis since 2017 and has since led several large-scale group housing and commercial projects across NCR, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Punjab. Her portfolio also spans diverse building typologies including railway stations, retail and hospitality projects. She has successfully delivered projects ranging from 10 to 30 acre group housing developments, 50 to 300 acre plotted developments, and commercial projects of varying scale for prominent developers.

With a strong focus on real estate architecture, Sonal specializes in driving projects from concept to sanction with a strategic and commercially informed approach. Her expertise lies in project feasibility, market-driven planning, master planning, and maximizing efficiency and saleability through intelligent interpretation of development regulations.

She works closely with design teams while architectural concepts are taking shape, ensuring alignment with market positioning and commercial objectives, while overseeing design development and associated marketing collaterals. Her involvement ensures that projects are both design-forward and financially viable.
