“Versova Housing” is located in Mumbai with breath taking views of the Arabian sea.  The design inculcates the views of the Arabian sea, the impact of the built form on the skyline of the city of Mumbai, optimizing the built form to ensure minimum heat gain and quality of life for the residents.

Design evolved with the simple paradigm of how to give view to each room from each apartment. The client brief required two towers on site, to be constructed alongside each other.

Iterative computational logic was deployed on the project to create a system of maximizing the views from the apartments. The dichotomy of design deals with glass facade, facing the water front and closed panels on the side of the tower to reduce gain and also create a privacy for the residents.
